The best places to stay in the whole of the UK

If you are looking for somewhere to stay on holiday in the UK, then you should think carefully about where you go. It is true that there are plenty of lovely places to visit, but if you want to go to the best places in the country then you should head to the North of the country for the best places to stay.

One of the nicest places to visit is the Lake District, and Keswick is one of the best spots in the Lakes. It is a delightful market town which actually has a great range of shops so that it is easy to base yourself there. It is easy to get about from this spot as well and you will find that you are perfectly positioned for the rest of the Lakes. You can find cottages in keswick very easily on the internet.

Another place to visit in the North which is delightful for holidays is York. Finally you will come across another lovely village in the Lakes, and that is Grasmere. You will find Grasmere is great for a holiday for a couple of reasons. Firstly is perfectly positioned right in the heart of the Lakes, and secondly it is such a quaint little village and truly epitomises the Lake District. You will find a great deal of grassmere cottages on the internet and this is the best place to find properties for your holiday.

Enjoy free Petronas towers and no queues

For a while, the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur were the tallest buildings in the world. Even today, its height has already been overtaken by other more modern buildings is a must if you’re in the Malaysian capital.

The towers are in a business district where you can easily reach by metro from the center (1.90 ringgit travel) but if you want to get on them you will get up very early and great deal of patience.

I did and I got to the foot of the Petronas at 7 am and had nearly 100 people in line waiting for the doors opened an hour and a half later. After the wait I was informed that it was only possible up to the Skybridge, the passageway that connects both towers at half height-for 40 ringgit.

The experience was interesting but again the Petronas or eat again joke that queue for so little in return. At the end of the day you are in the interior of the towers and what you see is the exterior. It has much better views from the Kuala Lumpur Tower though less aesthetic (38 ringgit).

There is another option up even better and free. In front of the Petronas Twin Towers is the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Get smart media with a shirt and trousers, enters the hotel lobby and head to the left as if you know where you’re going. In short, as if you were a customer for the hotel. If necessary greets the buttons and get into the elevator you see in the park left the hall. Climb to the top floor. Come to a terrace with amazing views of the Petronas towers. No waiting and completely free. While admiring the view, look down and laugh at the early mornings, waiting and other givers ringgit.

Nightlife in Gran Canaria

The Island in Gran Canaria is one of the most beautiful one there is and one of the perks of this island is that the nightlife has a lot of things to offer. Life at night is one that makes people go crazy and it is the perfect place to be if you are looking for adventure and parties. Parties at night start in the late evening and can go on until the early hours of the morning. Restaurants do not close until late and the bars and nightclubs close very late as well. Each month in this island you will find different public events such as community parties and parades. This are filled with music and color. The capital of Gran Canaria is known as La Palma and it is the biggest city there is in that island. There you will be able to find bigger “fiestas” at all times because it is always filled with people that are looking to have a good time. The city of Puerto Rico, which is also in the island, Gran Canaria is perfect for families because it is much more calm. The restaurants and bars are fun but there is a family air that you will probably not see in the other cities of Gran Canaria.
