We came back from Rurrenabaque to La Paz (on the same road) to a bus interchange and travel to Copacabana, not the beach in Rio de Janeiro, but a small village on the banks of Lake Titicaca. Since there are daily boats to Isla del Sol, our final destination. We spent the night in Copacabana and the next day boarded the early morning and two hours and half a small boat took us to the north of the island. It is a tourist spot, but luckily for us most people are only going to spend the day. We stayed three.
And although as I said every day landed in a hundred of tourists, after most leaves, the tranquility and peace continue to reign in the place. The major economic activities of the tourist island remain Camp and fishing. Every day at sunset by the beach, go back to their homes with their livestock farmers and fishing boats returning to shore, sometimes you’re lucky, sometimes not.
The sun shines strongly, even an aura with the colors of the rainbow, constantly surrounds him.
The water is cold but the beaches seem drawn from the Caribbean. Do not forget that we are in the highest lake in the world, not the greatest, but when one rises to the top of the island forget at times that is in a lake and the horizon is lost in the vastness of the water … Takes a lot of steep uphill at that point but it deserves both a stroll through it …
