Visitors can tour the picturesque streets full of pavement cafes that serve snacks and drinks at reasonable prices or simply jumping from bar to bar at night or in the Triana district of Santa Cruz. For tourists, Seville offers magnificent monuments as the Giralda, the Cathedral of the fifteenth century Moorish palace of Alcazar. Each spring, the city also held two festivals: Easter and April Fair (which almost always celebrated in the last week of this month).

Where to go in Sevilla?

Metropol Parasol (mushrooms of the Incarnation)

This is one of the greatest works that have been made in Seville for a few years. This modern structure situated in the center of the city is shaped like giant mushrooms and top (the access to this area costs 2 €) offers the opportunity to enjoy amazing views of Seville.

Piazza San Lorenzo

Built in the fourteenth century, the parish of San Lorenzo is a very good example of Gothic. This style is the perfect blend of northern European Gothic and Moorish-inspired. The Church has obviously suffered over time, but you can see many details in the Arabs belfry. The altarpiece was designed in 1632 by sculptor Juan Martinez Montanes Seville, one of the most important of the time.

This place used to be a coal cellar (hence the name), but today is a very fun bar where you can tell how to live the night in Andalusia. It is a very popular place so no matter the day of the week you go, there’s a great atmosphere, music and festive spirit alive.

Maria Luisa Park

The Maria Luisa Park is the largest park in Seville, where it is nice to lose a little stroll along the winding paths among its many squares and fountains, diving under the shade of a tree on sunny days or soak up the sun in winter.

It is very common to see many people (mainly tourists) by picnics in the area

One of the best ways to walk in the park (and throughout the city) is renting a bike at one of the many places that offer this service in the city.

The beautiful Guadalquivir River in Seville offers many opportunities ranging from jogging paths along its banks to take a cruise down the river. You can rent a boat, canoe or pedal boat and spend a great afternoon. This is certainly a unique way to learn the Andalusia capital without having to walk your streets.

Andalusia and the rest of Spain have much to offer in culture and tourism, so that a single visit would be short for all that was offered.

The diversity of landscapes attracts surfers to Laguna, extreme sports practitioners and those seeking the benefits of hydrothermal vents.

Laguna keeps Santa Marta lighthouse and other buildings have been hundred of interest in Iphan.

The southern region of Santa Catarina was mostly Italian colonization. However, the tourist cities located on the coast, such as Laguna, Imbituba and Garopaba, Luso-Azorean originates.

Laguna, meanwhile, is a historical city with a set of six hundred buildings of interest declared by the Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN). Meanwhile, Garopaba and Imbituba are spas with famous beaches and the best places along the coast to see whales. The main cities in the region are Criciúma, a major ceramic pole and Turbarao, where two stations vents. The benefits of hot springs can also be enjoyed in Gravatal.

The Italian roots are more noticeable in small towns in the interior, as Urussanga, Nova Veneza, and Orleans. In Araranguá, Morro spa highlights the two convents. In the Way of the Canyons, natural beauty is abundant.

In addition, on the border of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, cuts in the mountains are steep attraction for ecotourists who want adrenaline or simply contemplate the magnificent beauty of nature.

The main festivities held there have to do with the Wine Festival in August every two years, and the Ethnic Festival every September.

If there is a city that seems to be digging a few inches below ground and find traces of most of human history, this city (although not the only) is Rome. The city where all roads lead is history at every turn and is full of secrets. Moreover, in Rome, there is much that is not seen with the naked eye, but we have to explore underground.

The example which we will discuss today is more than illustrative: from the catacombs of Rome are more accessible, are those of San Sebastian. Situated near the Via Appia Antica, 136, in the Basilica of San Sebastian Constantine, catacombs their way through galleries communicated with the walls of the old church building. The catacombs of San Sebastian dated from the early first century, surrounding the third century.

Beyond the legend, and imagination which can deliver this kind of places, the catacombs are underground cemeteries rather than Christians (most of the time) as a solution to the problem of burying the dead at the time, by provision, on the outskirts of the city. The lack of space, made the galleries dug in the rock underground Roman were a viable alternative.

The catacombs reach their maximum growth in the fourth century, to fall into oblivion the next century. Just a few hundred years ago are rediscovered and explored. Today, the city of Rome has more than 60 catacombs that stretch for miles of tunnel.

The catacombs of San Sebastian is one of the few preserved and open to the public (along with those of San Callisto, Domitilla, Priscilla), except Sundays, Christmas Day, New Year and Easter, or on days of maintenance. Its name comes from San Sebastian the martyr, was buried in them.

The entrance is through the Basilica of San Sebastian. Visiting hours are from 9.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 17.00. Just pay an entrance fee that includes an escort guide service. Not a question of getting lost in these labyrinths.
